Review: Clio Kill Cover Liquid Founwear Ampule Cushion

Friday, 9 September 2016

Hello friends!

I had a bit of writers' block last month and I decided to take a break from the beauty reviews. But after doing some thinking and a lot of brain storming I came up with so many new ideas and I'm excited to share them with you all in the near future. This month I have a new favourite cushion foundation. I didn't think this would be possible because the Hera uv mist cushion ultra moisture has been irreplaceable for the past 3 years. I had first heard of Clio Kill Cover liquid founwear ampule cushion from none other than youtube by meejmuse. But it really all started from the moment I swatched this product at the Kim Sung Young beauty store. I was sold by its coverage and knew I had to come back and buy it!

Features
  • SPF 50+ PA+++
  • Shade 04 Ginger
  • "Long wearing effect with second skin-like finish for all-day wear"
  • Liquid foundation and double silk ampoule
  • Whitening
  • Anti-wrinkle
  • Hydration that lasts for 24 hours

Review: Heimish All Clean Balm

Wednesday, 29 June 2016

Hello friends!

So if you've read my previous blog posts you would know that the Banila Co. Clean it Zero cleansing balm has been my all time favourite (review), for double cleansing my face. But after finishing my now fourth tub of this amazing stuff, I decided to venture out and see what other cleansing balms are out there. As far as I knew, this was the most popular and probably most used cleansing balm on the Asian skin care market, and it worked so I didn't see the need to change it. However after watching a 'meejmuse', January-March Beauty favourites that the Heimish All Clean Balm might be something worth trying. My initial thoughts and experiences have all been great and I would like to share them with you.

Features
  • Paraben free
  • Removes make up
  • No synthetic scents or artificial pigment
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Suitable for sensitive skin
  • 120ml

1 Year Anniversay: Day Skin Care Routine!!

Friday, 27 May 2016

Hello friends!!!

In celebration of my blog's one year anniversary I decided that it was only appropriate that I posted a 'Day Skin Care Routine.' As some of you may know, my first ever blog post was my 'Night Skin Care Routine'. I really enjoyed writing up that post for you all and thought it would be also helpful if I showed you what my typical day or morning skin care would be like.

I would like to firstly thank you for reading my blog, although there may not be many of you, I really do appreciate the 3 or sometimes 20 people who come by to visit my blog daily. I really hope my posts have been interesting for you and that they have helped you in some way.

I love discussing all things skin related and open to any questions you may have. So please don't hesitate to comment,  I will be more than happy to chat and answer all of your questions.

Thank you all so much!

Review: Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Aqua Foundation

Tuesday, 29 March 2016

Hello friends!

So I don't do enough make up reviews on this blog but after recently running out of my long time favourite Bobbi Brown Long Wear Finish foundation I decided that it was time to try something different. As you all may or may not know I don't wear foundation on a daily basis instead I usually use a tinted moisturiser or BB Cream. As a result I don't have much experience with trying various foundations. But after doing some extensive research and high recommendations I was willing to try the Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Aqua Foundation.

Features

  • No artificial colours, fragrance, petroleum based mineral oil, paraben or alcohol.
  • "Sheer luminous finish that diffuses appearance of pores and imperfections"
  • 30ml
  • Shade 123

Review: NEOGEN Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Wine

Sunday, 21 February 2016

Hi again!

Exfoliating is probably one of the most important steps of your skin care routine. It buffs away the dead skin cells, revealing visibly brighter healthy skin. It also optimises your other skin care products allowing them to be extra effective upon application.

The Neogen Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Wine is a new way of exfoliating and after trying it just once, I was honestly impressed with how gentle and effective it was the day after.

Features
  • "Promotes visibly clearer, smoother & tighter skin"
  • 30 pieces (200ml)
  • Wine Extracts and fermented ingredients

Review: VDL Lumilayer Primer

Saturday, 23 January 2016

Hello and be-lated Happy New Year!!

I'm back with a new review that will simply brighten your skin this 2016! The VDL Lumilayer  is a primer that brightens the overall appearance of the skin. It illuminates the highest points and defines the slight contours of the face. This is achieved by VDL's unique Violet Lumilayer Technology.

I had been introduced to illuminating primers after it was frequently featured in bubzbeauty's favourites and tutorials. Ever since I've been on the look out for an illuminating make up base, so on a whim I knew I wanted to try VDL's Lumilayer Primer asap!
