Life Changing Water a Review: Son & Park's Beauty Water

Hello friends,

It has been a very long time. I am sorry for being MIA, but a lot of things have happened since my last blog post and I've been quite occupied with other activities such as uni, work etc. But all is good and I am back with another exciting review.

The Son & Park Beauty Water has quickly risen to beauty cult status since its launch in 2015. I was a little reluctant to try this product because what difference can something that claims to be essentially 'water' do for the skin. But after some research, I was convinced that it was so much more than a beauty water. To my surprise it claimed to be a multifunctional product that cleanses, tones and mildly exfoliates. Despite all the hype surrounding this product this made me immediately keen to give it a try!

  • Cleanses
  • Tones
  • Gently exfoliates
  • Moisturises
  • Preps skin for make up/skin care

I love how minimal and classy the Beauty Water bottle looks! The entire exterior is a smooth frosted plastic with a twist cap and contains a small pour out dispenser. You can dispense the product onto a cotton pad or onto your hands without worrying about wasting any of the product. The bottle contains 340ml / 11.49 oz.

Texture and use

The consistency of this product is exactly as it claims. It's just like water! It absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't leave a sticky residue. It leaves your skin feeling fresh, moisturised and preps your skin for skincare or make up.

As recommended by Son & Park you can use this as a make up remover before double cleansing or as a toner before proceeding with your other skin care products. If you want to go the extra mile, you can also use this as a triple cleanse after your double cleanse step. This will ensure to remove any remaining excess make up, reintroduce moisture back into the skin or to remove any impurities. It can also be used as a simple way to freshen up your face throughout the day.

The Beauty Water doesn't have a strong lingering scent. However, it does have a very subtle citrus scent.

My Opinion

  • I use this Beauty water throughout the day as a way to cleanse and freshen up my face. I especially enjoyed using this as a way to prep my skin for make up.
  • I also loved using this as a toner after cleansing my face in the morning, to remove any residue such as dead skin and skin care that may have accumulated from the night before.
  • This water has definitely changed the texture of my skin. I realise that on days I don't use it that my skin is not as soft and doesn't retain moisture like it usually does.
  • I would highly recommend this to all skin types including those with sensitive dry skin.
